University of North Texas 
The University Union was rebuilt and opened in Fall 2015 and serves as a home away from home for students.
The 315,000 square foot facility provides studying, socializing, lounging, dining
and meeting space, and interior displays capture UNT's culture and history. On average
the University Union services 22,000 visitors a day.

Seating and Capacity

The Emerald Ballroom's almost 10,000 square feet can be used alone in conjunction with other event spaces in the building. The ballroom has integrated media and sound systems to support all your event needs. The Emerald Eagle Ballroom is able to be sectioned into three stand-alone spaces by use of wall dividers if needed.

The President Joshua Crittenden Chilton Meeting Room is a 1,000 square foot space that has a full glass wall and floats over the University Union's main hallway.

The Lyceum Theater can seat 500 people and has in-house media support.

There are a number of conference rooms available on the third and second floors.
