Any registered student organization can schedule an Event Consultation.

Can we schedule an Event Consultation if we have never hosted an event before?
Absolutely. Event Consultations are designed to support RSOs at all experience levels, including first-time event planners.
Are Event Consultations required?
Some events will require a consultation based on funding request approval.
Other RSOs may choose to schedule a consultation voluntarily for additional support and planning assistance.
Is there a deadline to request a consultation?
No, however, RSOs are encouraged to request consultations as early as possible, at least 3-4 weeks before the proposed event date to allow enough time for planning, submission of an Event Application, and approvals.
What happens if our event plans change after the consultation?
RSOs should communicate any changes as soon as possible so staff can provide updated guidance and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
